What data this site collects
Where's The Money has no user accounts, no logins, and doesn't ask you for any personal information to use it.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful, via cookies that collect general usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device/browser type). This data is aggregate and isn't used to identify individual visitors by this site. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Donations
If you choose to donate, payment is handled entirely by Ko-fi and PayPal — this site never sees or stores your card details or payment information. Ko-fi and PayPal's own privacy policies govern that data.
Corrections
If you email us to report a data issue via the mailto links throughout the site, that email is only used to review and correct the issue raised.
Accuracy
Every effort is made to source data accurately from official public records, and each dataset shows exactly when it was last updated. That said, this is an independently maintained project, not an official government publication — always check the linked primary source for anything you're relying on for a formal or legal purpose.
